Important Dates for 2012!
Monthly Coordinator Meetings:
Meetings will be the 1st Thursday of each month from April through October starting at 7:30PM at the American Legion in Souderton, PA (353 N Main Street, Souderton, PA, 18964-1608).
All Associations must be in attendance each month. If the Coordinator cannot attend, please, send an alternate! Thank you!!
Coaches Certification:
- All Head Coaches and Coordinators that have not been certified since 2009 must take this!
- Certification Online Access will be made available and posted on www.popwarner.com - Go to Cheer & Dance then Online Coaches Course.http://www.popwarner.com/cheer/coachingcourses.htm
- Ensure you dedicate time to complete the review and certification test. Also, PRINT YOUR CERTIFICATE! This must be put in the books!
- Note - All approved coaches and coordinators that require certification, cost to take this certification will be reimbursed by Buxmonts to your Association upon receipt of your FINAL Rosters.
- Judges Training - This is NOT the mandatory Certification for Coaches! It's for the judges. It's a good idea for coaches and coordinators to take this if you want to understand the judging aspect. This will NOT be reimbursed by Buxmonts.

Pop Warner Cheer & Dance Coaches and Administrators:
Please note the following updated release dates for YCADA’s Competitive Edge – Online Competition Training for Pop Warner Coaches and Judges:
Coaches’ Version – On or before Friday July 27th
(Voluntary Training assisting Coaches in succeeding at competitions. This course does NOT satisfy the PWLS Mandatory Coaching Education Requirements. Please go to PopWarnerCoaching.com for that course)
Judges’ Version – On or before Friday August 10th
(Mandatory for Pop Warner Competition Judges)
We apologize for the delay but we have postponed the release date in order to allow us to create a more finely-tuned and customized version of the training for Pop Warner coaches and judges. We’ve expanded the topics covered in the training and included new features such as skill videos and detailed photos. We know you have been anticipating the release and we hope it will be well worth the wait as we are excited to be able to offer the course just as the new season approaches!
Please be assured that each of you who have filled out the information request form on www.YCADA.org will be notified when the training launches. We look forward to hearing what you think of the new training software! Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Cheer Classic and Competition Dates:
Bux-Mont Cheer Classic: Saturday, October 6, Quakertown High School
South Qualifiers: Saturday, October 27, Liacouras Center, Philadelphia
Regionals: Friday, November 16 through Sunday, November 18, Sun Bank Arena, Trenton
Administrative Dates:
Preliminary Rosters Due June 7th!
July 29th - Lenape Valley Hands on Clinic 10am to 2pm
1st Practice - August 1st
League One Rosters are DUE by August 15th!
Books are due Sunday, August 19th!! Competitive squads MUST use the 2012 PW Official Card each cheerleader! See Forms & Documents (This is 105 and above).
